Birmingham Schools & Academies Show

November 25, 2019

Allied Fleet were delighted to return to the Schools and Academies Show at the NEC in Birmingham. The event attracts senior buyers and influencers from the education sector, all looking to connect directly with organisations displaying their latest innovations, products and services.

The two-day exhibition proved a huge success for Allied Fleet with many showing interest at our stand on the show floor. We proudly showcased our FlexiLite™ the minibus you can drive on a car licence – while promoting the Allied Fleet brand.

Experienced Team

We had a great team in attendance, including two of our experienced Sales Managers, Simon and Mark, plus our National Manager Colin: all available to provide information on sales, hire and leasing options and discuss all that the FlexiLite™ minibus has to offer.

Our marketing team were also on hand to support the sales team in setting up the fantastic new hanging banner and filled the stand with promotional literature and freebies to hand out to visitors.

FlexiLite™ Features

We received a great deal of interest in our FlexiLite™ lightweight minibus which can be driven by anyone with a standard car license. FlexiLite™ is approved by Peugeot and Citroen and is the ideal solution from those looking for maximum carrying capacity without incurring the additional expenses of putting staff through D1 category license training.

FlexiLite™ achieves this by using innovative, lightweight materials and provides the ideal safety tested, road-ready minibus, accommodating up to 17 passengers and up to four wheelchair users. Our folding rear access ramps allow quick and easy access for wheelchairs and can be stowed away neatly within the vehicle.

Successful Outcome

Allied Fleet Sales Manager, Simon Bishop, commented: “I enjoyed attending the Schools & Academies show again this year. The NEC is a terrific venue and it’s great to talk to so many interesting people from schools all over the country. We’ve had some great feedback on our FlexiLite™ minibus. We know that the sector struggles with budgets to be able to put staff through the training for a D1 licence so they’re happy to hear our FlexiLite™ can be driven on a B license.”
